BlackBerry Messenger to Connect Facebook and Twitter

BlackBerry users can increasingly addicted to tamper with the phone since the Facebook app and Twitter confirmed by Research in Motion (RIM) will be connected directly to the instant messaging service BlackBerry Messenger (BBM).

“RIM today announced Facebook, Twitter, BlackBerry Travel, BlackBerry App World and BBM Music will be connected to the fuel,” wrote the Canadian smartphone vendor in a press release on its website on Thursday (04/12/2012).

Facebook application that will connect with BBM is version 3.0 and Twitter as well with version 3.0. The presence of this new feature will enable BlackBerry users to share Facebook status and tweet last.

“Since we opened BBM connectivity to the developers, there are more than 800 new applications that have features of BBM-connected,” said Alec Saunders, RIM’s vice president of Developer Relations.

Currently, he said, one of the five applications that many users downloaded on BlackBerry App World is an application that has connected the BlackBerry Messenger feature.

Facebook and Twitter, and BlackBerry Travel (version 2.5), BlackBerry App World (version 3.1.2), BBM Music (version 2.1) and BBM (version 6.2) is scheduled to be downloaded in the next 10 days in the BlackBerry App World.
